Fantastic from start to finish. The Martian race improves every year.
The signage was better as I could clearly see the split of the course for 5 kms this year, even though I decided to ignore it. Splitting the starting times according to the distances ran helped everyone to stay calm.
The atmosphere is always friendly, the marshals encouraging and positive (even when they were standing in the heat of the sun), the communication from the time of registering to the day of the race was excellent.
All in all, The Martian Race is becoming an event to be looking forward to taking part in year after year.

A great atmosphere, very well sign posted route, which was an interesting route. I loved it being one lap, so you didn't get bored. The marshals were so supportive. Please just keep doing what you are doing.

Overall it was excellent with great marshals. If I was being picky I’d suggest more toilets and an additional coffee cart.

One observation. After Heather Farm, there was a bridge and I didn't register the pointer signs but followed other people who were not participants. It might have been helpful if the marshal had been on the other side of the bridge. Having said, this marshal together with all the others were very supportive and encouraging particularly to a geriactive like me towards the back!

This was the first time I have run the event. I did the 5K. Thought the organisation was excellent from start to finish. There was a great atmosphere and everyone was really encouraging. Marshalls did a great job, signage was very clear. Will definitely do it again next year, all things being equal.

Really enjoyed my first Martian Race. Well organised, parking and toilets and route are great, as is the food and drink, medal and online alien certificate of your time.

Lots of marshals round the course which was great. Could’ve had a few more people on the water station as it was a bit manic given the hot weather.

More water stations please

I had registered the whole family and we had a great time! Many people took part, from beginners to more experienced and, as a beginner myself I felt encouraged and supported throughout the whole 5k. It's been very well organised from the parking, food and refreshment, toilets, marshalls at various points, medical assistance (likely none needed despite the high temperatures) and a physio team. Very impressed and have already shared the experience with friends and family! Next year we'll be there again and will probably invite more people to come along.

A bit on the hot side but more than half was in shade, thank goodness! Excellent organisation and lovely friendly marshals.
